Livin it up in the Backcountry 1800's style

I found him asleep in the hallway on the floor. Sprawled on his back and fully clothed, beside him sat the miniature tape player that he likes to listen to his 100 silly songs tape in. It happened to be softly playing Annie's "The sun will come out tomorrow." His shoes were kicked off and his dirty grassy socks lay balled up beside his shoes. He was absolutely worn out from the 1800's experience at the museum and planting flowers with his Mama that afternoon.
We had a great day on Saturday at the museum. We learned how people lived in the 1800's in the backcountry! The people were dressed as they would have dressed and cooking as they would have cooked. Outside in the back of the museum was the barn with two fat sheep on the side, a chicken coop, the blacksmith, privy, commissary, smoke house, loom house, bread oven, herb garden, etc. It was cool:)
