Parental Units
The Fall Festival turned out to be a blast for Will. When we got there he was soooooo excited. Then, I noticed that he was more wiggly than usual, and knew that he had to go to the bathroom. Every time I asked if he had to go to the potty, he said no. The kid did not want to miss anything. Finally, he couldn't hold it any longer! He made it to the bathroom. Thank God he didn't wiz in the costume! Whew. For some reason he always does this.....He just doesn't want to miss the excitement! The Pumpkin contest was the coolest part. The kids really got creative. My favorite was Buckwheat and the Three Little Pigs:) Will liked playing the games and getting candy. Fun Times:) He was the only kid dressed as Captain America and all of the older adults from that generation totally dug the Captain America get- up complete with muscles:) He was too cute. My favorite costume there was Alfalfa. The kid really looked like him! It was awesome! A little girl wash a washing machine, and there was also a T.V....too cute. Lots and lots of fairey princesses and pirates.....little lady bugs, bumble bees ,and giraffes too:) My Raggedy Ann didn't go because she's not feeling too well:(
Boss man and his wife had their baby Sunday. David Texas.... Named after both of their fathers that have passed. I thought that this was cool. David for her father and Texas for his. What a strong name! They are calling him David............. And the funny part of this story is this:
Boss man has a habit of calling people coneheads...(this word is used frequently.) Well, his kid came out a conehead according to him. He showed me pics and sure enough......conehead. Totally could have been in that movie The Coneheads with Dan Ackroid. Of course, it doesn't look like that now. (This was just after he had been born and was because he was sitting so low in the womb with no embryonic fluids)..... He's a pretty baby with a cute little nose:) I am truly happy for them. He was born 5 weeks early and the birth was scary for them because the baby had to be rushed to Richland right after he was born. His lungs weren't working like they should and were slightly underdeveloped. Typically the momma blames herself and sure enough she did, but baby is fine:) He'll get to come home in a week. Man, I know that was scary. Little baby boy is doing fine:) Now, I'm thinking of a gift to get for the baby.......
Upcoming.....Bratwurst and stuffed leaves...???? Oh, I'm soooo there. ha.ha.
